Narando delivers high-quality audio content and thus provides a solution for companies and brands to make their articles audible. We've developed a platform which handles the logistic processes regarding the crowd-based production and the controlled delivery.
2013 we wanted to make internet articles audible especially for commuters. Mobile audio content already worked well in form of audio books. Audio content with human voices conveys emotions while being time efficient e.g. while driving.
2014 narando was selected for a support program of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy which enabled us to validate our business model. Our first moves showed a demand and a real product market fit, so we founded the narando GmbH in 2015. Since then we have been operational without further external funding.
Our service quickly aroused enthusiasm from publishers - especially in the field of corporate publishing. Today many companies use our service. So far over 10.000 articles, audio books and spots have been produced in several languages.
The fast and reliable production is made possible by our narrators on the platform, who bring texts to life with their vivid voices, ambition and determination. They thus reflect some of our most important core values: good work, motivation and independence.
As the founder and managing director, Christian is responsible for product and sales. If there is enough time he likes racing his bike, playing the trumpet or golf.
Priya secures the seamlessness of the audio production processes and mediates between voice actors and publishers. With her voice she also does voice-overs, audio books and music.
Together with Julian, Marc takes charge of the backend development. He studies Business Informatics at the FH Bielefeld and likes riding his motorcycle and playing Animal Crossing.
Philip's creativity flows into the frontend development. He studies Business Informatics at the FH Bielefeld and likes to work on software projects until they are flawless.
